Marvel’s next Disney+ series, VisionQuest, looks very different from what fans usually expect.
The show is set to arrive in 2026 and follows White Vision after WandaVision. Paul Bettany returns to play Vision, and Star Trek: Picard producer Terry Matalas will run the series.
Unlike most MCU projects, this one will not focus on massive fight scenes or multiverse chaos. Instead, it will explore identity, artificial intelligence, and what it truly means to be human.
White Vision has all of Vision’s memories. But he did not actually live through those moments. That raises one big question: is he still the same hero, or is he someone new?
The show completes a trilogy that started with WandaVision and continued in Agatha All Along. Each series explores grief, loss, and identity in different ways.
James Spader is also returning as Ultron. His comeback could highlight the darker side of AI, while Vision represents the idea that machines can develop empathy.
If Marvel gets this right, VisionQuest could become one of the most unique and thoughtful shows in the MCU.
