Marvel Studios has shocked fans with a surprise addition to its June 2025 Disney+ lineup. “Marvel’s Spidey and His Amazing Friends” Season 4 will officially premiere on Disney Jr. on Monday, June 16, 2025, at 8 a.m. PT, with six episodes dropping on Disney+ the very next day, June 17.

This was not included in Disney+’s original June release slate, making it a pleasant surprise for fans — especially younger viewers and families.

The new season kicks off with the “Water-Webs” arc, giving Spider-Man, Gwen, and Miles water-based powers and pirate-themed suits, while also continuing the fan-favorite “Dino-Webs” storyline.

This preschool hit has been one of Marvel’s most successful animated shows to date, clocking in 896 million streaming hours globally and ranking No. 2 for kids aged 2–5.

In addition to the new season, a fresh batch of Spidey shorts will debut across Disney Channel, Disney Jr., and YouTube on June 16, with a Disney+ release set for June 25.

Upcoming Marvel Disney+ Releases (2025 & Beyond)

Ironheart: Premieres June 24, 2025 – Riri Williams returns after Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, in a clash of magic vs. tech.

Eyes of Wakanda: August 6, 2025 – Animated series featuring Wakandan warriors recovering Vibranium.

Marvel Zombies: October 3, 2025 – Continuation of the What If…? zombie storyline with a star-studded voice cast.

Wonder Man: December 2025 – New superhero series exploring fame, identity, and heroism.

X-Men ’97 Season 2: Coming in 2026 – Promises to be darker, following the hit revival season.

Daredevil: Born Again Season 2: In production – Jessica Jones joins the fight as Matt Murdock battles Mayor Fisk.

Marvel’s June lineup, led by Ironheart and the surprise Spidey release, kicks off a packed slate that bridges animated family content and more mature, lore-rich MCU entries. Whether you’re into multiverse chaos or kid-friendly adventures, Marvel has something for everyone this year.
