Gen V Season 2

Amazon Prime Video has finally released the trailer for Gen V Season 2, confirming that the spin-off of The Boys will officially return on September 17, 2025. The teaser offers an explosive look into what’s next for Marie and her fellow Supes after the dramatic events of The Boys Season 4.

Back at Godolkin University, Marie and her friends find themselves in a changed world. With Homelander now controlling the United States, as shown in the latest season of The Boys, the stakes have skyrocketed.

The new dean, Cipher (played by Hamish Linklater), seems to be enforcing a stricter regime, and tensions are high as Godolkin now controversially admits non-Supe human students, sparking division and unrest.

The trailer teases scenes of rebellion and resistance, with posters reading “Resist” seen around campus, signaling that Marie and her allies may be plotting against Homelander’s authoritarian rule. Cate’s return and eerie welcome suggest not everyone is on the same side—and betrayal might be lurking within their ranks.

With The Boys Season 5 on the horizon, Season 2 of Gen V is expected to serve as a critical bridge between both shows. The themes of resistance, power struggle, and identity in a broken world are stronger than ever, and fans can expect more blood, chaos, and twists in true The Boys style.

Gen V Season 2 premieres exclusively on Amazon Prime Video on September 17, 2025.
