A man in Tanzania claims to have died and returned to life six times, leaving doctors and locals baffled. Instead of being celebrated for surviving the impossible, he now lives in isolation after being accused of witchcraft.

According to a documentary by Afrimax English, Ismail Azizi was first declared dead after a workplace accident and placed in a morgue. He woke up before his burial, walking out to the shock of his family, who thought he was a ghost.

Azizi says similar events happened after he was declared dead from malaria, a car crash, a snakebite, a fall into a toilet pit, and even after being burned in his home by fearful neighbors. In one case, his body reportedly stayed in a morgue for three days before he revived.

Although Azizi has never harmed anyone, locals link his survival to supernatural forces. Some have accused him of witchcraft, and he says his home was once set on fire in fear.

Now living alone in a small house, Azizi supports himself through farming, cooking, and cleaning. His family and neighbors have cut ties with him, and he says he is treated as cursed or immortal.

Despite his ordeal, he remains calm but admits to feeling tired of the suspicion around him.
