Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 Series

Leaked Samsung Promo Reveals Key Details for Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 Series

With just two days until Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event, new details have emerged about the company’s upcoming foldable phones. The Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, and the more affordable Z Flip 7 FE are expected to be officially revealed on July 9.

The latest leak comes from Roland Quandt of WinFuture, who shared what appear to be official Samsung promotional materials detailing screen sizes, battery capacities, storage options, and design features.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be thinner and lighter than previous models, measuring 4.2mm thick when unfolded and 8.9mm folded. Weighing 216 grams, it is set to be the lightest book-style foldable phone so far.

The Fold 7 will feature larger screens than the Fold 6, with a 6.5-inch outer display and an 8-inch inner display, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Storage options will include 256GB and 512GB, with a possible 1TB variant depending on the market. The phone’s main camera is expected to have a resolution of 200 megapixels, and it will come in blue, black, and silver colors.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 will feature a notably larger 4.1-inch cover screen that wraps around the two camera lenses, similar to Motorola’s recent Razr phones. Despite its larger 4,300mAh battery, the Flip 7 will be thinner than its predecessors. It will offer 256GB and 512GB storage options and share color choices with the Fold 7. The Flip 7’s main camera is expected to have a 50-megapixel sensor.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, aimed at budget-conscious buyers, will come with smaller storage options of 128GB and 256GB and a reduced 4,000mAh battery. It will keep the same screen sizes as the Flip 7 and reportedly feature the wrap-around cover display design. The FE model will be available in black and white.

In addition to phone leaks, Roland Quandt shared images of the Galaxy Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic, which adopt a squircle body design similar to the Galaxy Watch Ultra. There was no mention of the rumored Samsung trifold phone, which might be teased but is unlikely to launch at the event.

Samsung’s Unpacked event is set for July 9, when all official details will be confirmed.
