Ko Woo Rim, a member of the vocal group Forestella and husband of Olympic figure skater Kim Yuna, has completed his military service. He was discharged as a sergeant from the Army Band on May 19, 2025.

Ko Woo Rim enlisted in November 2022 and served for 1 year and 6 months. During his time in the military, he took part in several public events. He performed on KBS2’s Immortal Songs for the Armed Forces Day special and sang the national anthem at the March 1st Movement Anniversary Ceremony.

Before joining the military, Ko Woo Rim was active with Forestella. He also held his first solo concert titled [#000000] BLACK, showing strong popularity as both a solo and group artist.

To celebrate his return, Ko Woo Rim will host a YouTube Live broadcast today at 8 p.m. KST with his Forestella members. Now that Ko Woo Rim is back, all four Forestella members have completed their military service.

Forestella will also open recruitment for their official fan club “Soopbyeol” starting May 20. As they mark their 7th debut anniversary this year, the group plans to stay active with new music and live shows.
