Khloé Kardashian reportedly included a unique clause in her prenuptial agreement with ex-husband Lamar Odom that guaranteed courtside Los Angeles Lakers tickets for her and her sisters in the event of a divorce.
The former couple were married in 2009 and divorced in 2016 after a highly publicised split. Khloé has previously spoken about the challenges of ending her marriage to Odom, saying she approached the experience as a learning process rather than as a victim.
According to reports, the prenup included a range of financial and lifestyle provisions. These reportedly included $500,000 per year in general support, $25,000 per month, a new luxury vehicle at the end of every lease cycle, $5,000 per month for shopping, and $1,000 per month for beauty care.
The arrangement also specified courtside Lakers tickets for Khloé and her sisters, reflecting the family’s regular attendance at the games when Odom played for the team prior to his 2011 trade.
Odom’s personal struggles were also well-documented during and after their marriage. In October 2015, he was found unconscious at a legal brothel in Nevada following substance use, suffering from kidney failure, multiple heart attacks, and 12 strokes. He was placed on life support but made a full recovery. Khloé filed for divorce the following year.
The couple’s marriage and eventual divorce were widely covered on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, making their prenuptial agreement a point of public curiosity, especially due to its unusual provisions.
