Kendrick Lamar has set a new record for the highest-grossing hip-hop concert. His show with SZA at Seattle’s Lumen Field earned $14.8 million from nearly 61,000 tickets sold. This amount surpasses his previous record by about $5 million.

Earlier in April, Lamar and SZA performed at Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. That show made over $9 million, which was a record at the time.

Lamar is the first rapper to earn more than $9 million from a single concert. The previous record was held by Eminem, who earned about $8.7 million in a 2019 concert in Melbourne.

The “Grand National Tour” by Kendrick Lamar and SZA still has several shows left in North America. Afterward, they will perform in the UK and Europe this summer. The tour will end in early August.
