Kanye West has fired back at serious allegations from a former employee who claims the rapper ordered secret investigations into his wife Bianca Censori and ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
The anonymous plaintiff, listed as “John Doe,” filed a lawsuit in October 2024, accusing Kanye of causing emotional distress, violating labor and safety codes, and ordering private investigations into the Kardashian-Jenner family’s alleged “criminal links” and Censori’s movements while she traveled alone.
Kanye West’s legal team is pushing back, demanding the court remove “irrelevant” claims about Censori and Kardashian, and to force the accuser to reveal his real identity. Ye’s attorney argued that John Doe’s anonymity blocks proper vetting of his background and motives.
“There is no legal justification for hiding his identity,” Ye’s lawyer said, noting the accuser is a former military intelligence professional with no credible threats to his safety.
The lawsuit also claims that when West launched his 2024 presidential run, he had Doe investigate people involved in lawsuits against him and come up with media strategies to keep his name trending. One of the most explosive allegations: Ye supposedly ordered investigators to tail Bianca Censori while she visited her family in Australia.
These allegations come amid ongoing rumors about the couple’s marriage and Ye’s continued legal troubles, including a separate malpractice suit against his dentist. Meanwhile, Kardashian is reportedly struggling with custody issues, especially over their eldest daughter North.
The case continues to develop, and it’s unclear if the court will unmask the anonymous accuser or toss out parts of the complaint.
