Kanye West, now known as Ye, has released a new song titled “Heil Hitler,” and it has sparked massive controversy.
The song appeared exclusively on X (formerly Twitter) and is not available on Spotify, Apple Music, or YouTube. Major streaming platforms have removed the song due to its offensive content, which includes references to Nazis and Adolf Hitler.
The song begins with personal complaints about West’s life, including losing access to his children and bank accounts. But it quickly shifts into disturbing lyrics where he calls himself a Nazi and repeats the phrase “Heil Hitler” with a chorus. The music video shows shirtless men chanting the line, and the song ends with a clip of a Hitler speech.
West’s critics say the song spreads hate and glorifies Nazism. Groups like the American Jewish Committee and CyberWell have condemned the song, calling it a dangerous attempt to normalize antisemitism through music and social media.
“Ye’s latest hateful contribution to the world… is part of his campaign to make racism cool again,” said Tal-Or Cohen Montemayor, head of CyberWell. The organization says West is using his platform to spread Jew-hatred to millions, especially through social media algorithms.
Some users on social media have shared disturbing videos celebrating the song, while others have created AI-generated versions in different music styles. Despite the backlash, West has promised to perform the song at his concerts.
This is not West’s first controversy. In recent years, he has made repeated antisemitic statements, lost major brand deals, and aligned himself with far-right figures. His latest release continues to raise concerns about hate speech and the influence of celebrities online.
Many are calling for stronger action from tech companies to remove such content. Critics say platforms have not done enough to prevent the spread of antisemitic and hateful material.
Even though West’s song has been removed from most platforms, it continues to circulate online. The message from many critics is clear: this kind of hate speech cannot be ignored.
