Fairouz Ai, a prominent Japanese voice actress known for her roles in Dragon Ball Daima, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, and Chainsaw Man, has announced that she will be reducing her workload due to PTSD.

Ai and her agency, Raccoon Dog, confirmed that she has been struggling with the condition and plans to focus on her recovery moving forward.

Ai shared her decision on her X account, stating that she developed PTSD a few months ago but has chosen not to disclose the cause, calling it a private matter.

She emphasized that her decision to take on less work was made based on the advice of her doctors. Ai also expressed regret for any inconvenience caused to the production teams she has worked with.

The actress opened up about the pressures of meeting the expectations of her fans and the challenges of maintaining her image in the public eye. Despite her success, Ai’s decision to step back reflects her need to prioritize her mental health over her busy career.

Fairouz Ai’s career has been marked by a number of high-profile roles, including Jolyne Cujo in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean, Power in Chainsaw Man, and Kikoru Shinomiya in Kaiju No. 8.

She has also voiced Panzy in Dragon Ball Daima and is set to appear in several upcoming projects, including Chainsaw Man The Movie: Reze Arc and Magical Girl Raising Project Restart.

While Ai plans to work less in the coming months, she will continue to be part of major anime series.

Fans can still expect to hear her voice in some of the most popular upcoming anime, as Ai works to balance her career with her mental health recovery.
