Blackpink’s Jennie is making a mark on her solo career. This week, her single “Mantra” debuts at No. 37 on Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart, one of the most competitive charts in America for top 40 pop radio.
“Mantra” is Jennie’s second hit as a solo artist on the chart, and it pushes her ahead of fellow Blackpink member Rosé, who has only one hit on the same list.
Jennie now ties for the second-most placements on the Pop Airplay chart among solo women from South Korea, matching Bibi, who has also earned two hits.
Before “Mantra,” Jennie had just one solo hit on the Pop Airplay chart, “One of the Girls,” which peaked at No. 18 earlier this year.
Jennie’s new success shows her growing popularity as a solo artist, even as Blackpink fans eagerly await the group’s potential reunion in 2025.
