YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul has responded to a series of AI-generated videos depicting him in various scenarios, some of which portray him as a beauty influencer. The clips, created using the Sora app, went viral on social media last week.
In a TikTok video, Paul addressed the clips directly, saying they have affected his relationships and business. “I’m gonna be suing everybody that is continuing to spread these false narratives of me doing s*** that I would literally never, ever do. So be ready for lawsuits,” he said.
During his response, Paul humorously applied foundation to his face, referencing some of the AI videos, showing that he is taking the viral moment in good spirits. The video received supportive and amused reactions from viewers, with many praising Paul for his lighthearted approach.
The Sora app allows users to create ten-second AI-generated clips from text prompts, producing realistic depictions of people in fictional scenarios. Paul’s response contrasts with content creator Harrison Sullivan (HSTikkyTokky), who faced negative reactions to similar AI videos of himself, which he described as upsetting.
Paul has not yet provided further details regarding potential legal action against the creators of the AI videos.
