Travis Scott has officially announced the long-awaited sequel to JACKBOYS, sending fans into a frenzy. The rapper made the reveal in a dramatic fashion, projecting the message “JACKBOYS 2 is on the way” onto a building, with an audio snippet asking, “What the f*ck is we doing?”

The original JACKBOYS album, released in 2019, was a standout project featuring Don Toliver, Sheck Wes, SoFaygo, and Chase B. It became the first Billboard No. 1 album of the 2020s, cementing its status as a fan favorite. Now, after five years of anticipation, the follow-up is finally in the works.

Travis Scott had previously hinted at JACKBOYS 2 during his performance at Lyrical Lemonade Summer Smash 2024, where he expressed his gratitude for his labelmates. “I’m nothing without Sheck Wes, Don Toliver, SoFaygo, and Chase B,” he said, adding that they had been considering a sequel.

Don Toliver also fueled speculation earlier this year by reposting the original JACKBOYS trailer on his Instagram. Fans had been waiting for an official announcement, and now, with confirmation from Travis Scott himself, excitement is at an all-time high.

With Travis Scott currently in full creative mode and promising to “push the boundaries of hip-hop,” expectations for JACKBOYS 2 are sky-high. More details, including a release date and tracklist, are expected to surface soon.
