iOS 26 Apple Music New Live Radio Widget

Apple has released iOS 26 beta 2, which includes a new Apple Music widget for Live Radio stations. This is the third new Music widget coming to iOS 26.

New Live Radio Widget

The Live Radio widget is currently available only in large size. It provides quick access to Apple Music’s six 24/7 live radio stations directly from the Home Screen.

The widget includes these stations:

  • Apple Music 1
  • Apple Music Hits
  • Apple Music Country
  • Apple Música Uno
  • Apple Music Club
  • Apple Music Chill

Users can now access these radio stations with just one tap from their Home Screen instead of opening the Music app.

Third New Music Widget

iOS 26 is bringing several new Apple Music widgets. The first beta included medium and large Pins widgets that show your pinned music selections.

The medium Pins widget displays four pinned items, while the large version shows six. The new Live Radio widget joins these as the third Music widget addition.

iOS 26 Music Improvements

Apple Music is getting major updates in iOS 26 beyond just widgets. New features include:

  • AutoMix feature
  • Pinned music functionality
  • Playlist folder creation
  • Various other enhancements

Widget Convenience

The Live Radio widget addresses times when users don’t want to choose specific music. Instead of browsing through the Music app, they can quickly start a radio station that matches their mood.

This follows Apple’s trend of making frequently used features more accessible through Home Screen widgets.

Beta 2 Changes

iOS 26 beta 2 includes various design refinements and tweaks beyond the new widget. Apple continues to polish the software ahead of its public release.

The beta program allows Apple to test new features and gather feedback before the final iOS 26 launch later this year.
