During Apple’s Q1 2025 earnings call, CEO Tim Cook confirmed that the iPhone still has room for innovation, hinting at new form factors in upcoming models.

iPhone 17 Air: The Next Big Change?

Cook’s comments come amid rumors of the “iPhone 17 Air, a super-thin iPhone expected to replace the Plus model.

Reports suggest it will be between 5mm and 6mm thick, making it the thinnest iPhone ever.

Unlike the Pro models, this device is expected to have a single-lens camera and a lower-powered chip, focusing on design and affordability.

Optimism for Apple’s Future

While Cook avoided direct details, he said, “I think there’s a lot more to come. I could not feel more optimistic about our product pipeline.”

This suggests Apple is working on bold changes for future iPhones.

Apple’s approach seems to be balancing high-end innovation with more affordable, stylish alternatives like the rumored iPhone 17 Air.

If true, this could mark one of the biggest shifts in the iPhone lineup in years.
