Social media users are calling for a limited series based on a viral incident involving two executives from startup Astronomer who were caught in an intimate moment at a Coldplay concert.

Andy Byron, CEO of data company Astronomer, and Kristin Cabot, the company’s HR head, were filmed on the venue’s jumbotron during a recent Coldplay concert in Massachusetts. When the camera focused on them, both individuals quickly moved away and attempted to hide their faces as they appeared on the big screen.

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin reportedly commented on their reaction, saying: “Oh look at these two… either they’re having an affair or they’re very shy.”

The footage went viral on social media, prompting widespread speculation about the nature of Byron and Cabot’s relationship. Byron is married to Megan Kerrigan Byron, and the couple resides in New York.

Following the incident’s viral spread, internet users began suggesting the drama would make compelling television content. Meme page Betches shared the video on social media, writing: “Can’t wait for the limited series about this” and later adding “Coldplayed, a new limited series coming soon to a streamer near you.”

The comments section filled with casting and crew suggestions for a hypothetical series. Users suggested Ryan Murphy, known for creating scandal-focused shows like “American Crime Story” and “Glee,” should direct the project. Others proposed Marc Cherry of “Desperate Housewives” as an alternative.

For casting, social media users suggested Nicole Kidman play Cabot, with one commenting “Nicole Kidman is already at the wig fitting.” Gwyneth Paltrow was also mentioned as a potential lead, while others suggested the show would fit Netflix’s “Trainwreck” documentary series about music event scandals.

Byron addressed the incident in a statement released after the footage went viral, criticizing the venue for invading their privacy, though he did not directly address the nature of his relationship with Cabot.

The viral moment has become an internet meme, highlighting how quickly private moments can become public entertainment in the age of social media and large-screen displays at concerts.

Astronomer is a data orchestration company that helps businesses manage their data infrastructure. The company has not issued an official statement beyond Byron’s personal response to the incident.
