Insomniac Hiring Sparks Speculation About Spider-Man 3

Sony Spider Man 2

Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 has not been officially announced yet. However, new signs suggest that a reveal might be closer than fans think.

Insomniac Games released the first Marvel’s Spider-Man game in 2018 for PlayStation 4. It was praised as one of the best superhero games in years.

The game later came to PC and PlayStation 5. In 2023, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was released and ended with a cliffhanger that hinted at a third game.

Before Spider-Man 3 arrives, players can look forward to Marvel’s Wolverine, which was announced in 2021. Wolverine does not have a release date yet and may come late in the PlayStation 5’s lifecycle.

Currently, Insomniac Games is hiring new staff. This could be to support Marvel’s Wolverine or to start work on Marvel’s Spider-Man 3.

Since PlayStation 6 is expected in two or three years, it makes sense for the studio to begin preparing for the next Spider-Man game early.

While nothing is confirmed, fans should stay tuned for updates about Marvel’s Spider-Man 3.
