“Insane” Final Episode Teased as The Boys Heads Toward Its End

The final season of The Boys is almost here, and the cast is already teasing big changes. Stars Erin Moriarty and Karen Fukuhara spoke to Collider about what fans can expect from Season 5.

One of the biggest surprises is Kimiko. Fukuhara revealed that her character will finally speak — and more than expected. She said she did not realise Kimiko would be “so chatty,” adding that it felt like playing a whole new personality. The change also brings new dynamics, especially with Frenchie.

Meanwhile, Starlight’s story is taking a deeper turn. Moriarty said her character will face trauma in a new way. She explained that the journey will feel surprising but still natural. This season will show whether Starlight can truly heal and find herself again.

The stakes are higher than ever. After the last season, Homelander is more powerful and dangerous. His growing army of Supes puts everyone at risk, and no one is safe from his influence.

The rest of the team is also in trouble. Hughie, Mother’s Milk, and Frenchie are heading to a “Freedom Camp.” At the same time, Butcher is preparing for war with a deadly virus that could wipe out Supes for good.

Both stars also teased the final episode, and it sounds intense. When asked which episode fans should look forward to most, they both picked episode eight. They described it as “insane” and packed with major moments.

Fukuhara said she even wondered how everything could fit into one episode. Moriarty agreed, hinting that the finale will push the show to its limits. The cast has stayed quiet on details, but expectations are clearly high.

Outside of the show, Fukuhara also shared news about her next project, The Rookie: North. She recently filmed the pilot and said she is excited about joining a new team. She hopes the show gets picked up soon.

Season 5 of The Boys will premiere on April 8 on Prime Video, with new episodes releasing weekly. Fans can expect a brutal and emotional end to the story.
