The HMD View is a new mid-range smartphone from HMD Global that is set to join the company’s growing roster of own-brand devices.

According to recent leaks, the HMD View will feature a compact design with a metal frame and an FHD+ OLED display.

The key specifications of the HMD View include a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization, 8GB of RAM, and a 4,700mAh battery. The device will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset, which provides 5G connectivity.

Regarding the design, the HMD View will be available in three color options: Meteor Black, Ice (a grayish model), and Velvet (a red variant). The phone’s design is said to be reminiscent of old Nokia Lumia smartphones, though it will be similar in size to the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.

While the exact launch timeline is still unclear, it appears that HMD Global has a busy few months ahead as it continues to expand its portfolio of own-brand smartphones.
