GTA 6 Map Made in GTA 5

GTA fans have been eagerly awaiting more details on the Florida-inspired state of Leonida from GTA 6.

While the official game isn’t out yet, a group of modders has created a rough version of GTA 6’s map using GTA 5’s engine. This project gives us a taste of how massive the new map might be.

The modders, led by YouTuber ‘Dark Space,’ have built the map based on leaks and footage from GTA 6’s trailer. While it’s far from complete, the map already looks huge.

It takes over six minutes to fly across the map in a helicopter, compared to just three and a half minutes for GTA 5’s Los Santos.

The map isn’t filled out entirely, but some areas, like Vice Beach and the Stockyard, have been detailed with assets and NPCs. These areas are a glimpse of what the full game could look like.

Dark Space also created a short cutscene inspired by past leaks, where characters Lucia and Jason steal a safe from a pawn shop.

This fan-made project gives players a sneak peek at the potential size and feel of GTA 6’s world, making the wait for the official release a little easier.
