GTA 5 Players Discover Gruesome Hidden Deaths for Michael and Trevor

Grand Theft Auto V is no stranger to over-the-top action, but it turns out there were some even more brutal deaths hidden away in the game’s code.

Thanks to a source code leak from over a year ago, fans have uncovered alternate versions of two endings, and let’s just say these are a bit too gruesome.

In the game, you have three endings to choose from:

  • Choice A: Kill Trevor
  • Choice B: Kill Michael
  • Choice C: Deathwish

While these endings have some differences, it turns out the ones for Trevor and Michael originally involved even more graphic deaths.

In the alternate versions discovered, Trevor is killed by being frozen and smashed by a massive piece of wood. Meanwhile, Michael meets his end by being dropped onto a spinning helicopter blade, turning him into a horrific mess.

Fans on the r/GTA subreddit reacted with mixed feelings. Some were impressed by how extreme the deaths sounded, while others agreed they were a bit over the top. One user commented, “Trevor’s death in the game is better than the cut one, but Michael’s death sounds much cooler.”

Personally, I’m glad these scenes were cut. They sound a little too cheesy for my taste. The deaths in the final game are intense enough, and I can’t imagine needing to see these over-the-top versions in action.

While GTA V is known for pushing boundaries, these hidden endings may have taken it a step too far.
