Good news for GTA fans! Grand Theft Auto III: The Definitive Edition is coming to PlayStation Plus on June 10, and you can get it for free if you’re a PlayStation Plus Extra or Premium subscriber.
This version of the game is part of the GTA: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition collection, which first launched in 2021. While the game had many problems at launch, Rockstar Games has since fixed most of the bugs and improved the game. Now, fans say it’s finally the “true definitive version” of GTA 3.
Players on Reddit are excited. Some say this version is a real upgrade and runs better than the original. One user said, “I consider GTA 3 DE a genuine upgrade over the original.”
To play it for free, you need an active PlayStation Plus Extra or Premium subscription. Sony is currently offering discounts on subscriptions, so now might be the best time to join.
If you missed GTA 3 back in the day, or want to relive the chaos of Liberty City in HD, this is your chance to play a fixed and improved version – at no extra cost.
