Google is set to unveil its highly anticipated Pixel Buds Pro 2 at its upcoming Pixel 9 launch event on August 13. Recent leaks have revealed exciting details about the new wireless earbuds, including their punchy color options and improved battery life.
The Pixel Buds Pro 2 will come in four vibrant colors: Raspberry, Mojito, Porcelain, and Haze. These fun and stylish options are sure to appeal to a wide range of users.
Under the hood, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 are rumored to feature a larger 650mAh battery in the charging case, up from 620mAh in the original model. This could translate to extended battery life, potentially reaching up to 31 hours without active noise cancellation (ANC) and 20 hours with ANC, similar to the first-generation Pixel Buds Pro.
While official pricing has not been announced, the original Pixel Buds Pro were launched at $200. Expect the Pixel Buds Pro 2 to be priced competitively in the premium true wireless earbuds market.
With the Google I/O 2024 conference scheduled for May 14, we may get more details about the Pixel Buds Pro 2 at that time. However, the earbuds are more likely to be unveiled alongside the Pixel 9 series in August or at a later event in the fall.
As with any pre-release information, it’s important to take these leaks with a grain of salt. Until Google makes an official announcement, the details, including color options and specifications, could change.
