Apple Genmoji

Apple has introduced Genmoji to macOS with the first beta of macOS Sequoia 15.3. Initially launched with iOS 18.2, Genmoji allows users to create custom emojis using Apple Intelligence.

With the macOS 15.3 beta, Mac users can now generate these personalized emojis directly from the emoji picker. Users simply describe the emoji they want, and Apple Intelligence turns the description into a Genmoji.

Genmoji is available on Macs, iPhones, and iPads that support Apple Intelligence, including iPhone 15 Pro or later, iPads with the M1 chip or later, and compatible Macs.

This feature, along with others like Priority Notifications and contextual Siri, will be expanded in future updates, with these features expected to arrive in iOS 18.4 and macOS 15.4 in April 2025.

Both iOS 18.3 and macOS 15.3 are currently in beta, with public releases expected between January and February 2025.
