French Montana and Dubai Princess Sheikha Mahra Announce Engagement

French Montana and Dubai Princess Sheikha Mahra

Rapper French Montana is engaged to Sheikha Mahra bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, a princess of Dubai and daughter of UAE Prime Minister and Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Montana’s representative confirmed the engagement to TMZ, following months of speculation fueled by the couple’s public appearances.

The pair were first linked in July 2024, shortly after Sheikha Mahra finalized her divorce from Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum. She welcomed a daughter with Mana in May 2024 and has since continued her philanthropic work, particularly in women’s empowerment and education.

Montana, 40, born Karim Kharbouch in Morocco, rose to fame in the Bronx and is best known for hits like “Unforgettable” and “No Stylist.” He was previously married to Nadeen Kharbouch from 2007 to 2014, with whom he shares a 15-year-old son, Kruz.

The couple made their relationship public during Paris Fashion Week in June 2025, where they were photographed together at a Chanel event. They have since been seen in Dubai and Morocco, including trips to Marrakech and cultural visits in the UAE.

Sources close to the couple say their shared cultural backgrounds and mutual respect played a key role in their relationship. Montana recently referred to Mahra as his “inspiration” in a post on X.

The engagement reportedly took place in Dubai, with both families offering their support. While a wedding date has not been set, insiders suggest the ceremony may blend Moroccan and Emirati traditions.

The couple currently divides their time between Dubai and Los Angeles, where Montana is working on his next album.
