A Key Stop in F1’s Expanding U.S. Presence

The Austin Grand Prix has become one of Formula 1’s most popular races since its debut in the early 2010s. The Circuit of The Americas joined the calendar as a modern American racing venue and remains a fan favorite for its challenging turns and enthusiastic crowds.

It now sits alongside Miami and Las Vegas as part of F1’s growing footprint in the U.S.

Historic Austin Winners

  • Lewis Hamilton – multiple victories, including dominant drives during Mercedes’ peak era.
  • Max Verstappen – several wins in recent years, reflecting Red Bull’s continued strength.

The 2025 Austin Grand Prix promises exciting action under the sprint format, with fans worldwide tuning in across time zones. Whether watching live in Texas or overnight in Europe and Asia, this weekend’s race will be a highlight of the Formula 1 season.
