What to Expect from Galaxy S25 Series
Samsung is celebrating the 15th anniversary of its Galaxy devices with the launch of the S25 series.
The new models, including the Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra, are expected to feature significant hardware and software changes.
Leaked renders suggest a uniform design across the models, with flat sides, flat glass front and back, and rounded corners. The Ultra version may have sharper edges.
Camera and Performance Upgrades
Samsungโs flagship phones are known for their impressive cameras. The S25 series is rumored to feature a 200MP camera on the Ultra version, with improved sensors and a new f/1.7 aperture. The phones will also come with the new One UI 7, which includes AI features and enhanced parental controls.
Color Options and Pricing
The Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus are expected to come in Midnight Black, Sparkling Green, and other color options.
The S25 Ultra may be available in seven colors, including Titanium Black and Titanium PinkGold. As for the price, the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip could lead to a higher cost for the devices.
One UI 7 Features
One UI 7 will bring a range of new features, including a vertical app drawer, improved multitasking, and new widgets. The update will also include changes to the notification bar, icons, fonts, and battery indicators.
Android XR and Project Moohan
Another exciting announcement could be the reveal of Samsungโs Project Moohan, a mixed-reality headset powered by Android XR.
The headset, which resembles Appleโs Vision Pro, will offer a new way to interact with virtual and real worlds. Samsung may also showcase its first-ever smart glasses during the event.
Galaxy Ring Updates
While Samsungโs Galaxy Ring 2 may not make an appearance, there could be updates on new ring sizes. Fans of the Galaxy Ring will be hoping for new features or improvements.
