Newly released Department of Justice files reveal disturbing details about Jeffrey Epstein’s Amazon purchases.
The documents include 1,006 receipts from 2014 to 2019. They show items such as children’s school uniforms, sexual devices, costumes, and hundreds of books.
In 2018, Epstein ordered four girls’ school uniforms to his New York property. Other purchases included a $61 Sonic prostate massager, Vagifirm pills, a tuxedo, a CPAP machine, and binoculars.
Experts say the purchases suggest patterns of coercion and control. Relational trauma psychologist Desiree Nazarian called the items “clinically alarming” and noted they fit typical predatory behavior.
Epstein also bought costumes like a black-and-white prisoner outfit, an FBI costume, and combat pants. Nazarian explained that these orders suggest “role play around dominance, punishment, and authority.”
The files list hundreds of books, including Lolita, political books about Trump, Adolf Hitler’s biography, and Filthy Rich: The Jeffrey Epstein Story.
Online coders have created tools to explore the files, including a platform called Jamazon that replicates Epstein’s Amazon order history. Users have reported finding children’s toys and clothing among the purchases.
The DOJ says the released files include all records in its possession. Lawmakers have expressed concern about redactions and the protection of victim identities.
