The hit video game Elden Ring is getting a live-action movie adaptation, produced by A24 and Bandai Namco Entertainment.

The film will be written and directed by Alex Garland, known for movies like Ex Machina and Annihilation. George R.R. Martin, who helped create the game’s world, will serve as a producer.

Released in 2022, Elden Ring quickly became a fan favorite for its vast open world, challenging gameplay, and rich storytelling. The game’s dark fantasy style and mysterious lore make it a unique choice for a film adaptation.

Although details about the plot and cast are not yet available, the movie aims to bring Elden Ring’s haunting atmosphere and intricate story to the big screen.

With A24’s history of innovative films and Garland’s vision, fans expect a fresh, cinematic take on the beloved game.

The Elden Ring film is still early in development, but more updates, including casting and release dates, will be shared in the near future.
