A long-lost Eminem diss track titled “Smack You” has surfaced online, sending fans into a frenzy.

The song, recorded in the mid-2000s, features the rapper going after Death Row co-founder Suge Knight and his longtime rival Ja Rule.

Despite Eminem’s recent efforts to leave behind rap beefs, the leaked track offers a brutal reminder of his past feuds.

Eminem Takes Aim at Suge Knight

In the track, Eminem delivers some fierce lines directed at Suge Knight, even implying that Knight may have been involved in the fatal shooting of Tupac Shakur.

“I’m holding Suge responsible for the death’s of the two greatest rappers to ever grace the face of this planet,” Eminem raps.

He goes on to reference the unresolved mystery surrounding Tupac’s death and the ongoing rumors that link Suge to it. The diss is relentless, with Eminem vowing to “expose the truth” no matter the cost.

Ja Rule and Irv Gotti Also in the Crosshairs

The majority of the song, however, is aimed at Ja Rule, with whom Eminem had an ongoing feud in the 2000s. In the opening verse, Eminem mocks Ja Rule and his collaborator Irv Gotti, using sharp lyrics to attack their manhood and credibility.

“I’m holding Irv responsible, the Cookie Monster of Rap,” Eminem spits, referencing a famous insult from their past. He also makes a shocking remark about Ja Rule and a stolen Oscar statue, continuing the ruthless attacks that defined their rivalry.

A Track from the Vault

“Smack You” is a reminder of Eminem’s unfiltered approach to beefs during the height of his career. While the track is over two decades old, it’s a testament to his ability to craft scathing diss bars that still hold weight today.

The leak comes at a time when Eminem has made it clear he wants to focus on positivity, as evidenced by his 2024 track “Guilty Conscience 2,” where he reflects on his past conflicts and expresses a desire to move on.

Though the track may be old, it still packs a punch, offering fans a rare glimpse into Eminem’s mindset during his most intense rap battles.
