Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are selling their countryside farmhouse in the Cotswolds, England, just a year after moving in. The couple has listed the property—known as Kitesbridge Farm—for $30 million after relocating to a larger estate nearby.
According to The Wall Street Journal, Ellen and Portia bought the 43-acre farmhouse in 2024 for around $20 million and carried out major renovations, modernizing the 18th-century home while preserving its rustic charm. Despite the effort, they only lived in the property for about a month.
The reason for the quick move? More space—particularly for Portia’s horses, which have been brought over from California. The pair have now settled into a larger, more contemporary estate in the same region.
Kitesbridge Farm, located in Swinbrook, Oxfordshire, features a 16,600-square-foot main house with six bedrooms, a two-bedroom guest house, a converted barn with a pub, an indoor heated swimming pool, and a gym. The estate wraps around a central courtyard and is now reportedly the most expensive property currently for sale in the Cotswolds.
Ellen and Portia are well-known for buying and selling luxury homes—and their real estate ventures have now extended beyond the U.S.
