Eden Emulator Hits Google Play Store with Hollow Knight: Silksong Support

Eden Switch Emulator

The Nintendo Switch emulator Eden is now officially listed on the Google Play Store for devices running Android 11 or later. The listing includes screenshots, app details, and data safety information, making it the first legitimate Switch emulator on the Play Store.

Eden is a fork of the popular Yuzu emulator, which allowed users to play Switch games on other systems. After Nintendo removed Yuzu from the Play Store, Eden was developed by former contributors of the Citron project. While still in its early stages, Eden has gained attention for its performance and growing set of features.

The Eden team confirmed on Discord that the Play Store listing is official. However, it currently contains an older version of the app. The latest stable release, version 0.0.3, includes bug fixes, performance improvements, EmuReady integration, and support for Hollow Knight: Silksong, and is awaiting Google’s approval.

Although the Play Store listing will increase Eden’s visibility, it may also attract scrutiny from Nintendo. Despite this risk, Eden is considered one of the most promising Switch emulation projects for Android, and its official presence on the Play Store marks an important milestone for the emulator community.
