Ed Sheeran Records Hindi Song for Shah Rukh Khan’s Upcoming Movie

Ed Sheeran has confirmed that he is recording a Hindi song for an upcoming Bollywood film starring Shah Rukh Khan. The film’s official title has not been announced yet, but many fans believe it is King, Shah Rukh Khan’s next big release directed by Siddharth Anand.

The confirmation came while Sheeran was promoting his new single Sapphire, which features a special appearance by Shah Rukh Khan and vocals by Indian singer Arijit Singh. Behind-the-scenes footage from the shoot showed Sheeran recording a Punjabi version of Sapphire with Arijit Singh.

During that session, Sheeran revealed that he also recorded a Hindi song for Shah Rukh’s next movie. He made it clear that the Punjabi version of Sapphire is separate from the Hindi Bollywood song.

Fans have linked Sheeran’s Bollywood project to King because he was spotted working with Siddharth Anand, who is directing King, during the Sapphire shoot. Also, King is currently Shah Rukh Khan’s only known movie in production.

The film is expected to feature a star-studded cast, including Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, and Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan in a major role.

Ed Sheeran’s Bollywood debut is now one of the most talked-about crossovers between global music and Indian cinema. Fans of both Sheeran and Shah Rukh Khan are excited to hear the final result.
