Drake’s second studio album, Take Care, has now spent a total of 650 weeks on the Billboard 200 chart. This milestone makes it the second-longest-charting rap album in the history of the Billboard charts.

The only rap album with more weeks on the chart is Kendrick Lamar’s good kid, m.A.A.d city, which has been on the Billboard 200 for 668 weeks. This means Kendrick’s album leads by just 18 weeks.

Take Care was released in November 2011. The album received critical praise and features hit songs like “Marvins Room,” “Take Care,” and “The Motto.” It helped establish Drake as one of the biggest names in music.

The album’s long chart stay reflects its lasting popularity with fans and streaming listeners. Over the years, Take Care has continued to draw new listeners and stay relevant in hip-hop culture.

The Billboard 200 ranks the most popular albums in the U.S. based on sales, streaming, and radio play. Spending more than 600 weeks on this chart shows massive and consistent popularity.

Drake has released several successful albums since Take Care, but this sophomore album remains a fan favorite. As it nears Kendrick Lamar’s record, it highlights the growing influence of rap music over the last decade.
