Drake has unexpectedly canceled the remainder of his Australia and New Zealand tour, citing a “scheduling conflict,” according to an official statement from Live Nation.
Fans Left Disappointed as Tour Comes to an Early End
The Canadian rapper had already performed sold-out shows in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane and was scheduled to continue with more dates in Brisbane (March 4), Sydney (March 7), and Auckland (March 15-16).
However, just hours after his final Brisbane show on February 25, he departed the country on a private jet, leaving fans frustrated and confused.
Live Nation Assures Refunds and Possible Rescheduling
Live Nation has promised that they are working to reschedule the canceled shows. Fans who cannot attend the new dates will be eligible for refunds.
“We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience,” the statement read. “Drake and the entire team have had an incredible time doing these shows and are excited to return soon.”
Speculation Surrounds Drake’s Sudden Exit
Despite the official explanation, many fans question the real reason behind the abrupt cancellation.
Reports suggest that plans to cancel may have been in place days before, but fans were only informed later. This has led to speculation that the decision was influenced by low ticket sales or personal reasons rather than scheduling conflicts.
Adding to the mystery, Drake was spotted partying until 4 a.m. at The Tax Office, a Brisbane nightclub, just two hours before leaving Australia. His tour equipment was also being prepared for shipment to Europe, leading some to believe he has other commitments outside of Australia and New Zealand.
Exclusive VIP Encounters Before Cancellation
Before his final performance, reports surfaced that Drake had a private dinner with influencers, including OnlyFans star Blue Eyed Kayla Jade. Social media hints at the gathering but provides few details.
Australian reality TV star Emma “Pills” Pillemer was also seen enjoying VIP treatment at his Brisbane show.
While fans remain disappointed, many are still hopeful that Drake will return with rescheduled tour dates soon.
