macOS Sequoia features two default wallpapers: “Helios” and “Macintosh.” The “Helios” wallpaper boasts a dynamic gradient design with a fusion of warm and cool tones, creating a strikingly beautiful and energetic desktop. It is available in both light and dark versions.

The “Macintosh” wallpaper is a fun and nostalgic tribute to classic Mac icons. It animates and shifts through different retro graphics, featuring icons designed by Susan Kare, an early Apple employee who played a crucial role in creating the typefaces and interface elements for the first Macintosh computer. The wallpaper comes in eight distinct color options, including Spectrum, Blue, Yellow, Orange, Red, Purple, Dark Gray, Gray, Green, and Accent, as well as Random and Spectrum.
