BTS V at Dodger Stadium

BTS member V, whose real name is Kim Taehyung, threw the ceremonial first pitch at Dodger Stadium before the Los Angeles Dodgers faced the Cincinnati Reds.

Wearing a Dodgers No. 7 jersey and faded jeans, V delivered a flawless left-handed pitch, thrilling the fans both in the stadium and around the world.

Before the game, V met two-way MLB star Shohei Ohtani in the Dodgers’ dugout. The pair shared a friendly hug and posed for photos. V also interacted with pitcher Tyler Glasnow and young fans, signing autographs and chatting with attendees.

V’s pitch drew praise on social media, with many fans jokingly suggesting the Dodgers should sign him. This appearance made him the third BTS member to throw a first pitch for the Dodgers, following Jungkook in 2017 and J-Hope in 2024.

The event highlighted BTS’ growing presence in international sports, adding to the group’s history of participating in major global events, including the FIFA World Cup and the Olympics.

Videos of V’s perfect pitch quickly went viral on platforms such as YouTube, Twitter, and Instagram.
