Doctor Doom is set to lead his own superteam, Doom Division, in early 2025. The new series will feature South Korea’s Tiger Division, who first appeared in 2022-2023, as they join forces with Doom during the One World Under Doom event.
Doom Division will be written by Yoon Ha Lee, known for his Machineries of Empire series, and illustrated by Minkyu Jung, celebrated for his work on Star Wars Doctor Aphra and Magnificent Ms. Marvel.
The team’s original members—Taegukgi, White Fox, Luna Snow, Lady Bright, Mr. Enigma, Gun-RR II, and the General—will be joined by new heroes like Wave and Aero.
The series will explore how the Tiger Division, now serving under Doctor Doom’s new world order, faces growing tensions in a seemingly perfect world.
Marvel’s solicitation hints at a dramatic shift in the Marvel Universe with Doom’s rule. Despite bringing peace, Doctor Doom’s utopia comes with high stakes, as Tiger Division is tasked with imposing his will across the globe. The first issue of Doom Division will hit shelves on March 26, 2025.
Yoon Ha Lee shared his excitement about writing for the team, reflecting on his high school days in Seoul. Minkyu Jung also spoke about South Korea’s resilience and how it will influence the team’s actions in the story.
Doom Division #1 is part of a larger shift in the Marvel Universe, with Doom reshaping the status quo and introducing new heroes and challenges.
