DJ Mustard made his stance in the Drake and Kendrick Lamar feud loud and clear during his Coachella Weekend 2 set on Friday.
The West Coast producer played Kendrick’s diss track “Not Like Us” not once, but twice, and added his own jab aimed directly at Drake.
“Why you suing like a b***h, ain’t you tired?” Mustard shouted to the crowd, flipping one of the track’s lyrics. This was a noticeable shift from his Weekend 1 performance, where he avoided the diss altogether and stuck to his own catalog.
The moment added more heat to the ongoing drama surrounding Drake, who is currently in a legal battle with Universal Music Group (UMG) over defamation. Drake’s team claims he is ready for full legal discovery and accuses UMG’s leadership of trying to dodge accountability.
Meanwhile, Kendrick also appeared to throw shade at Drake during the opening night of his Grand National stadium tour, which features Mustard and SZA.
Drake’s amended lawsuit has already pointed to major public moments like the Grammys and Super Bowl. With Coachella now potentially in the mix, legal tensions may rise even further.
Despite the controversy, “Not Like Us” remains a crowd favorite, and Mustard’s performance proved that fans are still hyped about the track—and the feud.
