Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- will return with its long-awaited fourth season, set to premiere in 2026 on Crunchyroll. The announcement was made during the Crunchyroll Industry Panel at Anime Expo 2025, where fans were treated to a new teaser trailer and key visual for the upcoming season.
The series continues the journey of Natsuki Subaru, a regular high school student who is suddenly transported to a mysterious fantasy world. As in previous seasons, Subaru will once again face emotional and physical trials in a world where death is not the end, but a painful reset.
While a specific release date was not confirmed, Crunchyroll reiterated that the new season is scheduled for a 2026 debut.
The anime is based on the popular light novel series by Tappei Nagatsuki, with illustrations by Shin’ichiro Otsuka. Season 3 was directed by Masahiro Shinohara at Studio White Fox, featuring writing by Masahiro Yokotani, character designs by Haruka Sagawa, and music composed by Kenichiro Suehiro.
Crunchyroll currently streams all three previous seasons along with the OVA episodes, making it the go-to platform for both longtime fans and newcomers to catch up before Season 4 airs.
