The wait is almost over for Cobra Kai fans. The final five episodes of the hit series will premiere on Netflix on February 13, 2024.
A brief teaser trailer for Season 6 Part 3 has dropped, promising that “four decades of history” are leading to the ultimate showdown.
The trailer hints at the intense reckoning between Miyagi-Do and Cobra Kai, as both must confront their pasts while facing an uncertain future, both on and off the mat.
The finale of Cobra Kai will tie back to the events of the original Karate Kid movie, where Daniel LaRusso (played by Ralph Macchio) faced off against Johnny Lawrence (played by William Zabka) in the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament. The story picks up decades later, with both men running rival dojos.
The cast includes Macchio and Zabka, along with Martin Kove, Thomas Ian Griffith, Xolo Maridueña, Jacob Bertrand, Mary Mouser, and Tanner Buchanan, among others.
The series has also introduced new faces like Peyton List, Gianni Decenzo, Courtney Henggeler, and Dallas Dupree Young.
The first part of Season 6 was released in July 2024, followed by the second part in November 2024. Additionally, a new Karate Kid movie, Karate Kid: Legends, starring Macchio and Jackie Chan, is set to hit theaters on May 30, 2024.
Cobra Kai is created by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg. The trio serves as executive producers alongside Will Smith, James Lassiter, Caleeb Pinkett, and Susan Ekins in association with Sony Pictures Television.
Fans can now look forward to the final episodes of this iconic series when they arrive on Netflix in February.
