The hip-hop duo Clipse has released their first album in 15 years. Titled Let God Sort Em Out, the album became available on July 11, marking a major return for brothers Pusha T and Malice since their 2009 release Til The Casket Drops.
The new project features 13 tracks, including the lead single “Ace Trumpets” and a follow-up to their earlier song “So Be It.” Notable guest artists on the album include Kendrick Lamar, Nas, Tyler, The Creator, John Legend, The-Dream, and Stove God Cooks.
One of the key moments behind the album came when Clipse parted ways with Def Jam. Reports suggest the label opposed the inclusion of Kendrick Lamar, prompting the duo to move forward independently.
Pharrell, a long-time collaborator with Clipse, produced the entire album. Recording sessions took place at the Louis Vuitton headquarters in Paris, adding a high-fashion twist to the project’s creation.
The release has generated major excitement among fans and critics, marking a new chapter for one of hip-hop’s most respected duos.
