Classic PSP Game Up Adds Trophies in Surprise PlayStation Update

In a welcome surprise for trophy hunters, Disney Pixar’s Up has just received full trophy support on both PS4 and PS5 through the PS Plus Premium lineup.

The update, rolled out in mid-May 2025, adds 21 trophies including a Platinum, giving fans of the PSP classic another reason to revisit the adventure.

The trophy lists are identical across both platforms but not stackable, meaning players must earn them separately for each console. Thankfully, the list looks relatively simple, mixing story achievements, task-specific goals, and collectible hunts.

Players don’t need to be PS Plus subscribers to join in. Up is available for just $5.99 on the PlayStation Store, and comes enhanced with modern features like up-rendering, rewind, quick save, and custom filters.

Originally released on the PSP, Up The Video Game lets players join Carl Fredricksen and Russell as they journey through mysterious jungles in South America—just like the Pixar film.

While Sony continues to impress by bringing trophy support to more classics, fans are still waiting for similar updates from major publishers like Bandai Namco and Capcom, whose titles remain without trophies despite ongoing player requests.
