Electronic dance music, or EDM, has been around for many years. Some very popular and well-known EDM songs have become classics. These songs are loved by many people around the world.
Let’s have a look at the most notable classic dance music tracks from the history book of EDM.
This 1997 song by the French duo Daft Punk is one of their biggest hits. The music video features the robot-styled musicians in different locations, including a desert and pyramid.
Released in 1997, “Ecuador” by German group SASH! has an infectious beat and melody that gets people dancing. The lyrics are a mix of English and Spanish.
German group Scooter scored a club hit with “Maria” in 2003. The high energy track features vocals chanting the title name “Maria!”

Dutch DJ Tiesto scored a major club hit with the melodic trance track “Traffic” in 2003. It’s considered one of his most recognizable songs.
Italian group Eiffel 65 had a smash international hit with the very unique and quirky “Blue” in 1999. The vocals sounded synthetic and strange.
