Captain Park Squid Game

In the final moments of Squid Game season 2, Captain Park is revealed as a traitor. He was pretending to help Jun-ho, but in reality, he was working for the Squid Game organizers the whole time.

At first, Captain Park seemed like a friend to Jun-ho. He had saved Jun-ho’s life after he was shot by the Front Man, who turned out to be his brother.

But in the season finale, Captain Park’s true loyalties are exposed. He was secretly working for the Squid Game all along.

Captain Park’s Betrayal

Captain Park had been helping Jun-ho and the mercenaries track down Gi-hun and the Squid Game’s location. They had planned to use a tracking device to find the secret island where the games were held.

But when Gi-hun arrives at the island, he discovers that the tracker is missing. It turns out that Captain Park was the one who removed it.

Before this, Captain Park had pretended to be a friend to Jun-ho. He even saved Jun-ho after he fell into the sea, but this was all part of his plan to keep an eye on him.

Captain Park was likely hired or ordered by the Front Man to watch over Jun-ho and stop him from finding the Squid Game island.

The Front Man’s Influence

The Front Man, also known as In-ho, is a key figure in the Squid Game. He had a complicated relationship with his brother, Jun-ho, and didn’t want him dead.

That’s why he only shot him in the shoulder at the end of season 1. It seems that the Front Man had Captain Park rescue Jun-ho to keep him from discovering the island and ruining the Squid Game.

Captain Park’s Hidden Role

Captain Park’s role in the Squid Game goes beyond just being a traitor. He was also responsible for leaking information to the Squid Game organizers.

He tipped them off about the mercenaries’ plans and the location of the island. This led to the bomb explosion in episode 6.

Throughout the season, Captain Park played dumb, pretending not to know about drones and other technology. But in reality, he was always one step ahead, feeding information to the Squid Game overseers.

What’s Next for Captain Park?

The truth behind Captain Park’s actions is still not fully clear. Was he working for the Front Man from the beginning, or did he get involved later? We will likely learn more about his motivations in Squid Game season 3, which is set to premiere in 2025.

For now, Jun-ho and the mercenaries are left in the dark about Captain Park’s betrayal. But as the story unfolds, it’s clear that Captain Park’s role in the Squid Game is far from over.
