RM (BTS)

After months of anticipation, BTS‘ highly awaited reunion is finally just around the corner. With only one month left until the group’s return, RM, the leader of BTS, has reminded fans that the moment they’ve all been waiting for is fast approaching.

On May 11, RM shared an update on his Instagram Stories, posting a cartoon image of a brown bear holding a sign that read ‘D-30,’ signaling 30 days left until June 10, when he and fellow member V will officially complete their mandatory military service.

This post sent BTS’ global fandom, ARMY, into a frenzy. Social media was soon flooded with countdown threads, messages of excitement, and heartfelt reactions.

The end of BTS’ military hiatus has been a long time coming. Since late 2022, all the members of the group had to enlist for South Korea’s mandatory military service, with their enlistment staggered. Jin was the first to enlist in December 2022, followed by J-Hope in April 2023.

Both were discharged in 2024 and have been active with solo projects. RM and V started their service together in December 2023, with Jimin and Jungkook enlisting a day later.

The timeline suggests that the full group reunion will occur in mid-June, with RM and V returning on June 10, followed by Jimin and Jungkook on June 11. SUGA, who began his alternative social service due to a shoulder injury, will finish on June 21.

While no official group comeback date has been confirmed yet, fans are already brimming with excitement, eagerly waiting for BTS to return as a seven-member group.

RM’s simple yet meaningful post served as a reminder that not only are the fans excited, but the members themselves are also eagerly looking forward to their reunion.

The end of BTS’ military chapter marks a new beginning for the group, filled with new music, fresh energy, and the continuation of the bond with their loyal fans. As the countdown continues, fans are ready for what promises to be an emotional and celebratory return to the stage.
