BTS is getting ready to reunite. All seven members will finish their military service by June 2025, and fans around the world are counting down the days.
Jin and j-hope enlisted first. RM, Suga, V, Jimin, and Jung Kook followed later. After 18 months of service, they are finally coming back together. It will be the first full group reunion since Jin joined the army in December 2022. This moment also marks five years since BTS released their last full album, Be.
Even while apart, BTS kept busy. Each member released solo music, worked with other artists, and grew as individuals. But now, all eyes are on what comes next for the group.
In June 2024, RM wrote a letter saying he missed the members and looked forward to being together again. He said, “I miss the members so much… I just realized that many people still haven’t forgotten us and are waiting.”

In December 2024, j-hope said in an interview that BTS will return stronger. He said, “We are now coming back together, and I love that for us… When we’re all back together, it’s going to have a huge impact.”
RM also said that their time apart helped them grow. He believes their solo work will help the team when they reunite.
In January 2025, Jimin shared that he feels nervous but excited. He and Jung Kook often talked about their plans before bed while enlisted. Jimin said, “To be honest, there’s also a little fear… But my determination to give you the best stage possible has not wavered.”
In April 2025, j-hope told Apple Music that the reunion will bring “massive energy.” He said he’s curious to see how the group will look when they’re back on stage together.
Finally, in May 2025, Jin appeared on The Tonight Show and said he’s ready. “They are my lifesavers, so I need to show my appreciation and take care of them,” he said.
With all members nearly done with their service, BTS is preparing for their next chapter. Fans are ready — and so are the members.
