Day 2 of the 2025 Asia Star Entertainer Awards (ASEA) dazzled fans with a celebration of the year’s best in K-drama and K-pop. The ceremony, held at Japan’s Yokohama K-Arena, saw BTS’ Jin and Lovely Runner’s Byeon Woo Seok share the Best OST award, while Lovely Runner dominated the night with multiple wins across drama categories.
Jin was honored for his emotional track “Close to You” from When the Stars Gossip, while Byeon Woo Seok won for “Sudden Shower”, the hit OST from the beloved time-slip drama Lovely Runner.
The drama side of ASEA 2025 Day 2 was a major win for Lovely Runner, which took home Best Artist (Actor and Actress) for stars Byeon Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon. It also clinched Fan Choice Artist, Fan Choice Character, and Best OST, among others — cementing its legacy as a 2024 hit.
On the music side, i-dle led with three big wins: Record of the Year (Daesang), Global K-pop Leader, and The Platinum. Rising stars ZEROBASEONE also made a splash, taking home Performance of the Year (Daesang) and The Platinum trophy.
Other music winners included PLAVE as Best Male Group, BTOB as Best Vocal Group, and HANA as Best New Artist. ATARASHII GAKKO earned Best Artist (Singer), while Lim Young Woong took the Fan Choice Artist (Singer) title.
