The original incident took place during Coldplay’s show when a kiss-cam captured a man and woman sharing an intimate hug. Both individuals, later identified as high-level executives at a company called Astronomer, appeared startled when they saw themselves on the big screen and quickly moved out of the frame.

At his RUN SEOKJIN EP Tour in Los Angeles, BTS’ Jin referenced the viral moment during an on-stage game with fans. When given the word “Coldplay” to act out, Jin humorously mimicked the infamous hug, causing the audience to erupt in laughter.
Similarly, BLACKPINK’s Lisa and Rosé appeared to play along with the trend during their DEADLINE World Tour stop in Chicago. While performing “Don’t Know What To Do,” Lisa hugged Rosé from behind in a way that fans thought resembled the viral Coldplay moment. However, some fans believe it could have simply been part of their usual stage interactions.
